Welcome to Piermont.

Our church was founded in 1839 in the lovely river village of Piermont, NY. Today, we are a progressive and inclusive 21st century church.

Our church affirms the value and dignity of every human being. You are God’s beloved child, and the world is a better place because you live.

This is a safe and open space for you, no matter what you look like, how you identify, or even what you believe—or don’t believe. We are all together on a journey of learning what love means for each of us and for all. This openness is expressed in lively music, honest and deeply felt teaching, and warm and welcoming fellowship. You may hear classical, gospel, or contemporary music in worship—or ragtime and swing during our coffee hour. Spontaneous dancing and singing may break out!

We are not clones, but you may be familiar with co-affiliated churches such as Marble Collegiate or Middle Collegiate in NYC, or other progressive RCA/UCC churches in our region.
